Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and accountabilities:
- Give clear direction by setting the tone through daily meetings and aligning the team with goals.
- Set goals and empower the team to achieve them, providing opportunities for success and defining standards with great training.
- Be a great coach and be vocal about expectations at Dillas.
- Employee Appreciation (You're A Big Dilla):
- Inspire and motivate the team to maximize their potential on each shift.
- Acknowledge the team for their choice to work with Dillas and thank them often.
- Award and celebrate the successes of the team, especially those who perform PRIMO.
- Team and Customer Safety:
- Prioritize people and ensure that safety is the top priority, knowing the rules and enforcing them.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
- Proficient in various technology systems.
- On occasion, may be required to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds; kneel, bend or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; reach and grasp objects.
- Texas Food Handler's Card REQUIRED at Onboarding.

As a Shift Leader, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to fostering a positive and safe work environment. You should also be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.

Pay
The Shift Leader position offers a starting salary of $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, with the potential for additional earnings through tips and bonuses.
Schedule
Shift Leaders at Dillas work flexible schedules, ensuring a balance between work and personal life. They are expected to be available during peak hours and may occasionally work extended shifts to cover for other team members.
