Shift Leader/Manager

About the role

The Shift Leader/Manager position at this McDonald’s restaurant is starting at $21 per hour. An additional $1 per hour is available for those working overnight shifts. This position is with an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Monitor performance during the shift, take corrective actions as needed, and ensure safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during your shift and assist in meeting department goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure exceptional customer service.
• Manage crew effectively.
• Manage food safety internally.
• Train new employees.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work in a dynamic, energetic atmosphere.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
