Shift Leader/Manager

About the role

The job is for a Shift Leader/Manager position starting at $21 per hour. An additional $1 per hour is available for employees working overnight shifts. This role is part of an independent franchisee operating a restaurant under a license to use McDonald’s logos and products, distinct from McDonald’s USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Monitor performance during the shift, take corrective actions as needed, and ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards.
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during your shift and assist in meeting Department goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness, and oversee quality food production and exceptional customer service.
• Handle food safety, internal communication, scheduling, and training responsibilities.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and enthusiasm for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to qualify as a manager in corporate-owned restaurants.
