About the role

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a specific shift designated by the General Manager while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, wage, employment practices, ADA, and other legal requirements. The role involves knowledge and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs® Policies and Procedures, maintaining profitability through controlled food costs, labor, utilities, and driving sales growth.

You will provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs® culture, mission, and vision. You will assist the General Manager in implementing operations game plans and company initiatives, participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees, and ensure all required reports and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.

Active participation in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives is expected, along with representing Firehouse Subs® professionally at all times. You will communicate any business-impacting issues to the General Manager/Owner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, wage, and employment laws.
• Enforce Firehouse Subs® Policies and Procedures.
• Manage shift profitability by controlling food cost, labor, utilities, and driving sales growth.
• Lead the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness.
• Assist the General Manager in implementing operations game plans and company initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees.
• Ensure all required reports and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.
• Actively participate in Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Represent Firehouse Subs® professionally at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the General Manager/Owner about business-impacting issues.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager/Owner.

Requirements

• Able to work on your feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
