Shift Leader

About the role

Viva Chicken is seeking Shift Leaders to join our team of passionate individuals who love to serve up the hottest and freshest Pollo a la Brasa with a side of exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed and maintained.
• Manage inventory and cash controls to maintain optimal levels.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of food items according to recipes and standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of fast-casual experience preferred.
• A strong passion for food safety, people, and hospitality.
• Experience with catering is a plus.
• A commitment to quality, cost control, and cash control.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, balancing, and carrying large objects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for those working in locations requiring it).

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Compensation: $17-$19/hr.
