Shift Leader

About the role

Viva Chicken is seeking Shift Leaders who embody passion, hospitality, and a commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will lead a team in our vibrant and casual charcoal-fire rotisserie restaurants, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality food preparation.
• Manage inventory and adhere to strict quality standards.
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed and maintained.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing exceptional service.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing development opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of fast-casual experience.
• A strong passion for food safety, people, and hospitality.
• Experience with catering is a plus.
• A commitment to quality, cost control, and cash control.
• The ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, balancing, and carrying large objects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Customer service orientation.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
