Job Summary

Hiring Immediately up to $25 per hour. Velvet Taco seeks a Manager who is relentless in pursuing excellence, rebellious about food, and passionate about teamwork. The ideal candidate will lead a team, interact professionally with guests, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages hourly team members and interacts with guests in a friendly, professional, and responsive manner.
• Executes opening, mid, and closing duties daily following Velvet Taco's standard procedures and recipe guidelines.
• Handles guest concerns and guides them towards a positive resolution.
• Skilled in cash-handling, setting up POS drawers, performing comps and voids, and managing deposits during the shift.
• Presents oneself as a leader among the team and motivates others to follow procedures, work with urgency, and ensure a positive guest experience.
• De-escalates issues between team members and supports management with the inventory process.
• Ensures food safety by performing line checks, checking shelf storage and expiration dates for prepped food, and keeping the restaurant clean and orderly.
• Manages the daily prep list and signs off on all prepped items to ensure adherence to specifications and flavor profiles.
• Maintains a safe environment for team members and guests by enforcing the use of cut gloves, keeping floors clean and dry, and removing obstacles.
• Communicates and delivers a friendly, welcoming, exceptional guest experience.
• Embraces feedback, is eager to learn, and takes responsibility for their actions.
• Manages time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
