Shift Leader
Basic Purpose and Objectives of the Position
The Shift Manager (SM) serves to assist management in routine administrative and operational tasks within the restaurant. Focal points include driving excellence in customer service, maintaining company standards in product and facility specifications, reviewing food handling procedures, assessing operational processes, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback for hourly employees.
Principle Accountabilities
Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards.
Conducts periodic food safety audits.
Provides on-going coaching and feedback to crew on customer service, product quality, and speed of service.
Shares with the Management team day-to-day responsibility for cash procedures such as bank deposits, making change, opening/closing safe, and verifying drawers.
Conducts daily inventory, completes shift-to-shift food safety audit, and sets up daily control sheets.
Reviews facility and equipment readiness, monitors inventory, food preparation, and order fulfillment on a daily basis to ensure adherence to company standards, and monitors speed with service (SWS) performance to resolve bottlenecks and achieve SWS goals.
In the absence of management, responsible for food and supplies deliveries and restaurant opening and closing.
Provides ongoing coaching and feedback for crew employees and provides "hands-on" training for crew in Learning Zone.
Qualifications
Full-time Shift Leaders Wage rate - $17.00 to $20.00
PTO - A full-time Team Member who has completed fifty-two (52) weeks of continuous full-time service is eligible for up to forty (40) hours of PTO pay per year. A full-time Team Member who has completed five (5) years of continuous full-time service is eligible for up to eighty (80) hours of PTO pay per year.
Eligible for medical, dental, and health insurance
Short-term disability is provided after 90 days of employment
Eligible for period bonus if store achieves desired goals
