Shift Leaders

Shift Leaders are the face of our business and the Smoothie King Brand. They help Guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by selecting smoothies and retail products that inspire a healthy and active lifestyle. They also maintain store standards and lead Team Members in achieving store goals.

Responsibilities

• Affirming a superior guest experience, maximizing sales performance, and driving profitability while maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
• Completing store opening/closing and following opening/closing procedures.
• Making bank deposits.
• Assisting the General Manager with product ordering.
• Communicating and executing a positive brand impression to the overall Guest experience.
• Ensuring consistency and high quality preparation of smoothies and Guest service.
• Enforcing sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of all areas.
• Ensuring compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.

Essential Functions

• Operating a blender and POS cashier system.
• Routinely moving boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs., throughout the store.
• Constantly positioning self to bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shifts.
• Being mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F.
• Tolerating exposure to food allergens.
• Knowing Microsoft Office and having knowledge of general POS functionality.
• Holding excellent communication skills, including the ability to give and receive feedback.
