Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Lead and motivate team members during assigned shifts.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience by providing friendly, efficient service.
• Maximize sales performance while helping drive store profitability.
• Complete opening and closing procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Absorb and prepare smoothies and food items according to Smoothie King standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe environment.
• Enforce company policies, operational standards, and all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Train, coach, and provide feedback to team members to promote continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive, energetic, and team-focused workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in retail or food service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Comfortable making decisions and delegating responsibilities.
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Physical Requirements

• Operate blenders, POS systems, and other restaurant equipment safely.
• Lift and move boxes weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Frequently bend, reach, lift, and stand throughout the shift.
• Work in refrigerated and freezer environments (40°F to -10°F) as needed.
• Tolerate exposure to common food allergens.
