Shift Lead Overview

Our Panda Shift Leaders are key figures in our team, fostering a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere in our restaurants. They support management in creating delicious food, providing excellent service, and maintaining a positive ambiance.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation of a welcoming environment for guests
• Manage store operations and lead the team during shifts
• Prepare and serve Panda favorites
• Gain a diverse set of skills to enhance personal and professional development

Qualifications

• Some high school education
• Preferred experience in operations and food safety
• Food handler certification (at applicant's expense)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for up to four hours
• Reaching across counters
• Working in a fast-paced, noisy, and hot environment
• Effective verbal communication and conflict resolution skills

ADA Statement

The workspace can be hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workstations are restricted, and employees are expected to stand for long periods. Employees must lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across counters measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Employees must also work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, adapt to a dynamic environment, and manage conflicts/difficult situations.
