Shift Leader

About the Role

As a Shift Lead for our team, you will embrace a central role in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment. You will support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests, gain valuable skills managing store operations, lead the team during shifts, and gain hands-on experience in cooking and preparing Panda favorites. Qualifications

• Some high school education
• Preferred: some Operations experience
• Food Safety: Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant’s own expense

Work Environment

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspace is restricted, and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods. Duties include preparing hot and cold foods, using kitchen equipment like Chinese cook knives, and working quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for up to four hours
• Reach across countertops measured at 36 inches to serve customers
• Work in hot, noisy kitchens with limited storage space and high shelving
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Manage conflicts and difficult situations
• Possess effective verbal communication skills

Pay

Pay Range: $23 per hour - $26 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
