Shift Lead Overview
Our Panda Shift Leaders are key members of our team, responsible for fostering a welcoming environment and leading the team during shifts. They play a vital role in maintaining the vibrancy and success of our restaurants.
Responsibilities
- Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for guests
- Manage store operations and lead the team during shifts
- Prepare and serve Panda favorites to guests
- Gain a diverse set of skills to develop both yourself and others
Qualifications
- Some high school education
- Preferred experience in operations and food safety
- Food handler certification (at applicant's expense)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Standing for up to four hours
- Reaching across counters
- Working in a fast-paced, noisy, and hot environment
- Effective verbal communication and conflict resolution skills

The workspace can be hot due to steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workstations are restricted, and employees are expected to stand for long periods. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across counters. The environment is noisy and hot, with limited storage space and high shelving. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, adapt to changing priorities, and manage conflicts.
