Shift Lead Overview

Our Panda Shift Leaders are key members of our team, responsible for fostering a welcoming environment and leading the team during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for guests
• Gain valuable skills in managing store operations and leading the team
• Prepare and serve Panda favorites with passion and care
• Develop a diverse set of skills to enhance personal and professional growth

Qualifications

• Some high school education
• Preferred experience in operations and food safety
• Food handler certification required (at applicant's expense)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach high shelves
• Fast-paced work environment, strong communication skills, and conflict resolution abilities

Counter areas can be hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspaces are restricted, and employees are generally expected to stand for long periods. Employees must lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across counters. Kitchens are hot and noisy, with limited storage space and high shelving. Employees must manage fast-paced environments, communicate effectively, adapt to dynamic changes, and resolve conflicts.
