Shift Leader

About the role

We’re seeking passionate Shift Leads to join our growing team at MIXT. Ideal candidates will have 1+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in the food service industry, strong communication skills, and a positive, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an enthusiastic, positive attitude while assisting customers and resolving issues
• De-escalate and manage conflicts effectively
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance management for the team
• Ensure all employees are following the proper timekeeping practices
• Ensure execution of proper cash handling procedures
• Complete daily cash deposits and record-keeping
• Oversee store cleanliness, organization, and end-of-day tasks
• Work with the team and the Safety Ambassador to provide a safe environment for our staff and our guests
• Communicate and direct the team on food production for the day
• Avoid any additional duties needed and/or assigned by your Manager

Requirements

• 1+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in the food service industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team players with a calm and professional demeanor
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and leading by example
• Willingness to learn and embody our culture and values
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, repetitive reaching, bending, and twisting
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day, with intermittent breaks

Pay

$19.50-23.50/hour, plus $3/hour in historically average tips
