Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Monitor all systems and employees during production and downtime events.
• Record downtime events accurately.
• Promote safe working practice and instill a sense of urgency to all safety matters.
• Ensure all activities in your area under your responsibility have been risk assessed and appropriate control measures in place.
• Actively engage with your direct reports in safety meetings and activities.
• Actively communicate in responding with actions to questions/proposals of employees ASAP and follow up on actions agreed with your teams on a regular basis to ensure completions.
• Respond consistently with direct feedback to any at-risk behavior or conditions.
• Demonstrate positive example giving behavior and send clear and consistent message on safety.
• Establish RRE for your direct reports (including appropriate leading and lagging safety goals in performance expectations and emphasize the importance of them being exemplary leadership role models).

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related field (Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, etc.) preferred
• 3-5 years manufacturing experience
• 3-5 years leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge and experience with GMP principles
