Job Summary

Join our team! We are looking for a Shift Leader at Bruegger’s, a brand known for kettle-cooked bagels and made-in-Vermont cream cheese. Shift Leaders collaborate with the General Manager to ensure a great guest experience, and they have the flexibility to avoid evening and night shifts.

About the role

Shift Leaders play a crucial role in motivating the team and setting the tone for the store. They are responsible for opening and closing the store with minimal supervision and ensuring the quality of food and beverages served. They also maintain a safe and clean store environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to deliver a great guest experience
• Take charge and set the morale and tone of the team
• Provide feedback and coach team members when needed
• Open and close the store with little to no supervision
• Maintain the quality of food and beverages served
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant)
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Must have a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (preferred but not required) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations
