Job Summary

Join our team at Bruegger’s, where we guarantee genuine, New York-style bagels and real, made-in-Vermont cream cheese. Our stores close at 2pm, ensuring you won’t miss out on important events. We are currently seeking a Shift Leader to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

Shift Leaders play a crucial role in motivating and leading the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. They collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure the team is performing at their best. Shift Leaders also take ownership of opening and closing the store, ensuring a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Collaborate with the General Manager to set the tone and morale of the team
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members as needed
• Open and close the store independently with minimal supervision
• Ensure the quality of food and beverages served
• Keep the store environment safe and clean

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early hours (as early as 3am) and weekends
• Pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Able to pass ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training
• Valid state-issued driver’s license (preferred but not required)
