Shift Lead, Vault (Shift 2)
About the role
The Vault Processing Lead plays a critical role in guiding daily processing operations and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and service excellence for our collectors. Reporting to the Vault Operations Supervisor, this hands-on leadership role involves running shifts, monitoring key metrics, conducting research, and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
- Catalog incoming inventory with meticulous attention to detail, accurately identifying graded versus ungraded items while adhering to established style and content rules.
- Run shifts when supervisors are not present, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring smooth operations while leading with integrity.
- Monitor and report on key shift metrics including throughput completed, items shipped, and work remaining for the next shift to process.
- Conduct thorough research on items and communicate proactively with Client Partners regarding additional services and condition assessments, always starting with why and providing context.
- Mentor and guide team members by sharing your expertise and knowledge, fostering an environment of continuous learning and bringing out the best in everyone.
- Perform and oversee inventory audits, quality control checks, and accuracy verification to ensure items are in correct locations both physically and systematically.
- Pick inventory from designated locations and stage for packing and shipping.
- Operate material handling equipment safely to move products within the warehouse.
- Put the skunk on the table—sharing challenges or concerns transparently so problems can be addressed quickly.
- Safely handle and account for valuable merchandise, ensuring its security and proper handling throughout all process stages.
Requirements
This role requires someone who can lead with integrity, obsess over serving the collector first, and possess exceptional attention to detail. A high school diploma or equivalent education background is preferred, or an associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Pay
The hourly pay range for this position starts at $26.00. Entry-level operations positions generally start at an hourly rate of $17.00. Actual compensation in this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is Sunday- Wednesday or Wed to Saturday, 6:00PM - 4:30AM.
