Shift Lead, Recovery Residential

About the role

Heritage Behavioral Health Center is hiring Shift Leads for their Recovery Residential Services program, which includes the Crisis Stabilization Unit and the Substance Use Residential Rehabilitation Unit.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an on-the-job resource for administrative and clinical operations
• Maintain consistent presence on the unit throughout the shift
• Act as Lead Back-Up for medication availability (primary for weekend and bedtime meds)
• Review round sheets for compliance
• Support training and orientation of Behavioral Health Specialists
• Coverage of unit needs and provide direct coverage when needed
• Facilitate 2nd and 3rd shift huddles
• Ensure on-call schedules are accurate and posted
• Complete and review shift reports
• Promote quality care, hospitality, and recovery-oriented practices

Qualifications

• Experience in residential behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred
• Supervisory or lead experience strongly encouraged
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age: 21
