Broad Description of Duties
The Shift Lead supports the theatre management team by providing assistance with theatre efficiencies, staff communication, and meeting daily goals. They also serve as a first point of contact for guest concerns and assist with various associate-related tasks.
Essential Functions/Job Duties
- Communicate goals and objectives to associates through pre-shift meetings
- Reposition team members during peak periods and according to show schedules
- Process voids, refunds, seat swaps, and loyalty points for guest service reasons
- Reboot terminals to ensure scanning is 100% operational
- Be the first point of contact for guest concerns
- Maintain quality operations by meeting "Best In Class" benchmarks
- Aid in projects including seat repair, training, inventory, and financial planning
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
Job Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Willingness and motivation to learn new skills, tasks, and software systems
- Six (6) months minimum experience in the theatre industry
Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls
- Occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs
- Close vision, ability to adjust focus, and moderate to high noise levels
Education Required
No minimum education required; however, a high school diploma or equivalency is preferred.
