About the role

As a shift lead at Walgreens, you'll play a crucial role in managing the store's operations, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining the store's cleanliness and organization. You'll be responsible for opening and closing the store, managing deliveries, assisting with inventory, and ensuring compliance with local laws.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and resolves issues to provide a positive experience.
• Completes product returns, order voids, and cash transactions.
• Assists with and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and ensures proper signage.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Performs bag checks and assists with training and special assignments.

Requirements

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
