Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store, including systems start-ups, cash handling, and preparing the floor and stock room.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested.
• Holds store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
• Aids in the warehouse and vendor ordering process, including opening the back door for deliveries.
• Registers all related sales on assigned cash register, including scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Assists in evaluating and developing displays, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and following the Outdate program.
• Ensures compliance with local regulations and regulatory compliance programs, and assists with bookkeeping activities.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance, including store repairs and product placement.
• Performs bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
• Communicates assigned tasks to team members and reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Preferred knowledge of store inventory control.
• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
