Shift Leaders
Shift Leaders are comfortable taking responsibility as well as delegating it; they thrive on challenges and continually look for opportunities to learn. They are responsible for ensuring Guest satisfaction while maintaining efficient store operations and enforcing store policy. Along with the General Manager, they provide guidance to Team Members during their assigned shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the General Manager in the overall operations of the store in a leadership capacity.
- Ensuring a superior guest experience, maximizing sales performance, and driving profitability while maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
- Completing the store opening/closing and following opening/closing procedures.
- Making bank deposits.
- Aiding the General Manager with product ordering.
- Communicating and executing a positive brand impression to the overall Guest experience.
- Ensuring consistency and high-quality preparation of smoothies and Guest service.
- Enforcing sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of all areas.
- Ensuring compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
- Operating a blender and POS cashier system.
- Routinely moving boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs., throughout the store.
- Constantly positioning self to bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shifts.
- Being mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F.
- Tolerating exposure to food allergens.
- Having Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Knowing general POS functionality.
- Holding excellent communication skills, and being able to give and receive feedback.
- Being extremely reliable.
Qualifications
Must be able to operate a blender and POS cashier system.
Must be able to move boxes weighing up to 55 lbs., bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shifts.
Must be able to tolerate exposure to food allergens.
Must have Microsoft Office knowledge.
Must know general POS functionality.
