Shift Lead

About the role

The Shift Leader works alongside the Assistant Bakery Manager and Bakery Manager and team members to create the highest-quality cakes, a warm, welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. The Shift Leader shares in team leadership and collaborates with the bakery management in driving sales and profitability, executing day-to-day responsibilities and ensuring that all aspects of the bakery operation comply with Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Assistant Bakery Manager and Bakery Manager to drive sales and profitability.
• Execute day-to-day responsibilities to ensure bakery operations comply with NbC standards.
• Share in team leadership and collaborate with the bakery management.
• Reinforce core values and bring the brand to life for team members and guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.
• Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, based on changing business demands.
