What You’ll Do
- Own shift performance across safety, throughput, quality, and uptime
- Drive production flow from infeed → processing → kettle → outfeed
- Make real-time decisions to manage line speed, coating quality, kettle availability, and material flow
- Direct operators and coordinate crane/material movement to maintain continuous flow
- Identify and escalate bottlenecks, equipment issues, or process instability immediately
- Support startup, changeovers, and recovery from downtime events
- Train and develop operators; reinforce standards and accountability
- Ensure compliance with GalvaBar coating specs and inspection requirements
- Maintain clear communication with maintenance and management
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years in industrial production (continuous process preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple constraints (kettle, equipment, material flow)
- Strong judgment under pressure
- Hands-on mindset; willing to operate equipment
- Clear communicator in a heavy industrial environment
Reality of the Role
This is a hands-on role — not supervisory-only. Work around heat, cranes, and moving material.
