SHIFT LEAD

About the role

You’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help set shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s).
• Recruit and develop employees.
• Follow company policies regarding Safety and HR.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed.
• Track movements on the proper forms.
• Manage employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the On-Site Manager.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility.
• Ensure loads are secure.
• Perform daily equipment checks on industrial power equipment.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Execute basic financial data entry.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification.
