About the role
The Band III Machine Operator 1st shift will set up, operate, trouble shoot, and maintain bolt making equipment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct machine troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Read micrometers and scales accurately
- Perform arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Obtain or maintain a forklift license
- Comply with OSHA safety and health rules and Carris Reels safety program
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Demonstrate excellent attitude, communication, and teamwork skills
- Perform all other duties as required
Requirements
- Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
- General knowledge of small hand tools
- Forklift experience or license preferred
- High school diploma or educational equivalent preferred
- Math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
