About the role

The Shelter Shift Supervisor at Phoenix House of NY is responsible for leading a team of Residential Aides in providing a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals working towards greater stability and independence.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and assignment of job tasks to Residential Aide staff
• Assistance with daily activities and crisis management for Residential Aide staff
• Collaboration with case managers to connect clients with necessary healthcare, mental health, and housing services within New York State
• Attendance at staff meetings, case conferences, and required training
• Establishment and maintenance of client files in compliance with internal, local, state, and federal regulations
• Completion of quality assurance quarterly reports
• Performance of other duties as assigned within the job scope

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Minimum two years’ experience working in social service
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
