Shell Operator, Swing Shift (Aluminum) - Ogden, UT

Primary Function

Responsible for the production of shell molds.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Use hammer and air tool chisel to shape hangers.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Read and understand technical manuals and procedure manuals.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Draw diagrams.

Desired Competencies

• Normal vision, including J2 in one eye at no less than 16 inches.
• Ability to perform the majority of duties with general instructions, established methods, and clearly defined precedents.
• Make decisions when faced with unusual problems, referring them to superiors.

Minimum Physical Requirements

• Shoulder level lifting, pushing, or pulling may be required.
• Heat-resistant non-weather conditions.

Minimum Working Conditions

• Normal working conditions that allow performance of the majority of duties.
