About the role

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking individuals to join its team of experts who develop and manufacture advanced technologies for demanding industrial sectors. Key industries served include aerospace and defense, factory automation, environmental monitoring, electronics, oceanography, oil and gas, and medical imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed external visual inspections using microscopes to identify physical defects
  • Verify dimensions, markings, workmanship, and package integrity against specifications
  • Conduct external visual and pre-shipping inspections to meet internal and customer standards
  • Operate environmental test chambers (temperature, humidity, thermal shock)
  • Load, unload, and monitor devices during testing while following defined procedures
  • Complete basic visual and electrical checks before and after testing
  • Accurately document inspection results, test conditions, and product status in computer systems
  • Support production test operations by preparing test hardware and handling devices
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Follow cleanroom and electrostatic discharge safety protocols at all times

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform microscope-based inspection
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and production documentation
  • Basic math, computer, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain effective in a production environment
  • Self-starter with accountability for assigned work
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, inspection, or testing
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift or move 5–10 lbs. frequently

Pay

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is $50,600.00 - $67,500.00 annually. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
