Shelf Merchandiser- Commissary - Imperial Beach-P/T - 18 hrs p/w

Responsibilities

• Determine which responsibilities by facility the Base Manager is to be focused on.
• Shelf Merchandiser:
  • Replenish shelves, end caps and displays with products daily.
  • Straighten merchandise to give a neat, full appearance.
  • Rotate products on the shelves.
  • LIFO Move product from the warehouse to the sales floor.
  • Dispose of all packaging and boxes for our brands.
  • Consolidate and organize pallets in warehouse.
  • Check for and remove expired product from shelves.
  • Maintain a clean work area in warehouse.
  • Observe company's safety rules and guidelines.
  • Know company brands and its products.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
• The position is physically demanding, requiring significant time standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, stretching, and bending in awkward positions.
• Works indoors in a typical grocery store environment, exposed to drafts, heat, noise, and dust.

Requirements

• Existing military base access strongly preferred.
• Must have military base access granted by the military, not Eurpac.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive sales and marketing service solutions experience in the Military Resale Channel.
• Experience with proprietary technology and processes relevant to the Military Resale Channel.

Skills

• Physical stamina and strength.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow company safety rules and guidelines.
• Knowledge of company brands and products.
