Sheetmetal Technician - All Levels

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facility, equipment and tooling when required.
• Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases using basic computer skills.
• Communicate effectively (speaking, writing, reading) in English.
• Assist in organizing manpower and setting priorities for involved projects as needed.
• Help supervise crews as required.

Qualifications

• Basic to advanced knowledge of turbine aircraft structures.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.
• Proficiency in fastening systems, procedures, and techniques.
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic resources.
• Effective communication skills (speaking, writing, reading).
