About the role

Operate and maintain web press.

Expected compensation for this role is between $18.00 and $23.00, based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain printing presses.
• Monitor the printing process to maintain print quality and consistency.
• Ensure that the final print meets quality standards and client specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment and general housekeeping.
• Collaborate with other team members.
• Abide by all OSHA regulations and other established company safety policies.
• Maintain prompt and reliable attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a sheetfed press is preferred (Goss or DGM).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Environment and Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of walking, standing, lifting, handling, and moving items.
• Ability to stoop, bend, push, and pull items.
• Requires full use of hands, arms, finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Physically able to operate machinery.
• Frequent exposure to vibration, fumes, or airborne particles.
• Works in a printing plant environment with moving machinery.
• Exposure to loud noises and moving mechanical parts.
