JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Moves large rolls of paper stock from the warehouse to the sheeter area by using a clamp truck.
- Operates the Sheeter safely to produce the correct size and quantity of sheets as per customer order.
- Assists with moving pallets of the cut sheets to the appropriate press.
- Utilizes the shop floor data system (computerized) to help track productivity.
- Assists in other areas of manufacturing as requested, including running material through the aerator.
- Responsible for training other employees or temporary employees in the safe operation of the Sheeter as requested.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Keeps area clean and organized.
- Performs other job duties as assigned by management or lead person.
- Consistently attends to quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Safety Responsibilities
- Learns and complies with all Cultech, Inc. safety rules; reference to employee handbook.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school education or GED required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude/skills.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required; experience running a Sheeter preferred.
- Ability to read and write and communicate in English in order to follow written and verbal job instruction.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be attentive to detail and have excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow all job procedures and safety protocols.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Employees must fulfill the performance standards of this position and comply with policies, rules and procedures of Cultech, including those set out in the Employee Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or in writing) to employees.
- As necessary, employees are expected to manage waste and chemical products properly.
