Position Summary
Cutter Aviation is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal/Structural Technician to join their Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will provide top-notch customer service and perform routine and unscheduled repairs on aircraft.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine structural repairs in compliance with FAA and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs to airframes as needed in compliance with FAA and aircraft manufacturer standards.
- Carry out structural repairs including sheet metal work, riveting, patching, fiberglass repair, corrosion preventative treatment, priming, and painting.
- Install optional or additional equipment to aircraft as requested by customers.
- Make required logbook entries of repairs and adhere to all company and FAA paperwork requirements.
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and methods of repairs.
- Aid in cleaning and polishing of work areas in the hangar shop.
- Perform facility maintenance and repairs as directed.
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience working with sheet metal and structural repairs on aircraft, preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance manuals and FARs.
- Experience with sheet metal and some composites.
- Ability to perform accurate work, meet deadlines, and maintain time accountability.
- Excellent organizational, customer service, training, and communication skills.
- Outstanding teamwork abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Able to develop a positive rapport with customers.
- Sincere desire to assist customers.

- Pass a drug screening test.
- Pass a background check.
- Have a clean driving record.
Salary Description
$42-$46/hr, DOE
