Sheet Metal Mechanic

About the role

PlanIT is looking for C-130 Flight control Sheet metal mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.

Requirements

• Experience working with thinner materials, flight controls, or back shop repair.
• Minimum 8 years structures/sheetmetal experience.
• Flight control/thinner material experience preferred.
• Candidates with flight control repair experience, back shop fabrication/repair experience, general aviation repair experience, or part fabrication experience are desired.

Schedule

• Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift.
• First shift: 5:30 am – 4:00 pm.
• Second shift: 3:00 pm – 1:30 am.
