About the role

Central Plumbing, Heating, Excavation (Central) is a respected, employee-owned mechanical and excavation contractor performing projects throughout Montana. We are currently seeking an eager individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to advance in the sheet metal trade.

Responsibilities

• Learning the foundational elements of:
• - Planning, layout, fabrication, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning ductwork
• - Using technical and mathematical skills in a fast-paced construction environment
• - Supporting sheet metal journeymen and apprentices with daily installation and fabrication tasks
• - Reading and interpreting blueprints with guidance
• - Safe use of tools, equipment, and materials
• - Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety, safe work practices, and a willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Comfort working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
• Mandatory math skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• GED or High School Diploma
• Compliance with Central’s Drug & Alcohol Policy
