Responsibilities

• Installs duct systems, air conditioning systems, and all duct work
• Captures installation of HVAC duct systems, exhaust, and ventilation systems
• Runs jobs and assigns daily tasks and measure crew productivity
• Verifies measurements and field conditions
• Ensures proper installation methods and quality standards
• Reads and interprets blueprints, specs, and shop drawings
• Complies with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area
• Assists with other work in coordination with repair and maintenance teams
• Generates change orders and work orders that address customer needs

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years of Sheet Metal Work and completion of Sheet Metal Program
• Knowledge of HVAC systems
• Communicate effectively with internal team and customers
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Diagnose and resolve problems, follow written and verbal instructions, read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material, and perform math
• Ability to use hand and power tools

Physical Demands

• Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, recovery equipment, and various other HVAC equipment
• Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials
• This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently
• Physical demand requirements are at levels of those of medium work

Work Environment

• Operates primarily in teams on HVAC systems in all environments, which includes extreme cold or heat depending on the time of year
• Vehicles are used as the base of operations
