Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to produce required parts.
- Select appropriate tools and input CNC commands to ensure proper machine operation.
- Set up punches and tooling for various operations.
- Run production parts according to specifications and required quantities.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, instructions, and specifications.
- Distinguish between different gauges and types of materials.
- Measure and verify part accuracy using tape measures, calipers, and other tools.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet company and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Prioritize work based on production schedules and department needs.
- Accurately record labor through time and attendance systems.
- Follow manufacturing instructions and complete assignments independently.
- Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company policies.
- Follow all company procedures, policies, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Collaborate with team members to support production goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow directions from supervisors.
- Basic mathematical and measurement skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions.
- Knowledge of CNC operations and tooling preferred.

Interaction with Others
This position reports to the Plant Manager and works closely with supervisors, leads, and production team members. The role requires the ability to follow direction, communicate effectively, and maintain cooperative working relationships across departments.
