SHEET METAL BIM COORDINATOR

Responsibilities and Duties

• Aid in creating and updating 2D and 3D BIM drawings for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping).
• Support the detailing of construction layouts, schematics, and shop drawings.
• Ensure all drawings meet company drafting standards and project specifications.
• Revise drawings as directed by BIM Trade Leads, Project Coordinators, or BIM Coordinators.
• Assist with coordination between mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings to identify potential clashes or conflicts.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in Revit and Navisworks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and apply new technical skills.
