About the role
The Shaw Contract team is hiring in Northern Colorado/ Southern Wyoming for an Account Executive position. This role focuses on Corporate Workplace, Institutional (EDU, HC, SL & GOVT), and Multifamily segments. Key responsibilities include prospecting, building a pipeline, managing projects from inception to completion, and presenting to clients.
Responsibilities
- Work with architects, designers, flooring contractors, end users, contractors, etc. to select appropriate products for projects.
- Travel daily to call on existing customers and prospect new ones.
- Manage projects from identification to completion, including product selection, order placement, delivery coordination, installation oversight, and communication of maintenance programs.
- Build relationships through CRM tools like Salesforce.com and industry events.
- Present to architects, designers, and end-users to educate them on the flooring industry and how Shaw Contract can benefit them.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 5+ years of commercial interiors experience required.
- Demonstrated success in new business development, including prospecting, pipeline creation, and securing new accounts.
- Living in Northern Colorado / Southern Wyoming is strongly preferred.
- Experience calling on commercial A&D, flooring contractors, and end-use channels required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Competent in using CRM tools such as Salesforce.com.
- Able to adapt and change strategies based on customer feedback.
- Strong presentation skills to educate clients about the flooring industry.
