Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks a Part-Time Server for Shaughnessy's Pub.

About the role

Greet and serve guests according to standards. Perform daily duties including taking and serving orders, setting up, side work, and answering menu questions. Ensure food appearance, temperature, and portions meet standards before serving. Assist coworkers and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to the service manual.
• Complete all necessary set-up and side work as assigned.
• Answer guest questions about the menu.
• Check food before serving to ensure correct appearance, temperature, and portions.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Strong communication skills with guests and team members.
• Willingness to assist coworkers and work as a team player.
• Belief that every associate is a guest relations ambassador at all times.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working as waitstaff in a catering or restaurant setting.
