About the role

This role focuses on the integration and migration of a newly acquired subsidiary web property. The Web Content Specialist will be responsible for harvesting, auditing, cleaning, and re-architecting raw web content from legacy platforms into standardized HTML and JavaScript. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the specialist will maintain a temporary static web baseline while preparing for a future transition into an enterprise Content Management System. Location: Houston, TX 77024.

Responsibilities

• Manually harvest and audit raw web content from legacy platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Clean and re-architect content into compliant HTML and JavaScript, enhancing usability and accessibility.
• Integrate content into SharePoint environments while maintaining front-end functionality.
• Conduct information architecture and SEO audits to improve the digital presence of the subsidiary.
• Prepare for migration into the enterprise Content Management System, ensuring a seamless transition.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience writing hand-coded, clean, semantic HTML5 and CSS.
• Direct experience working within SharePoint environments, contributing to content management.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript for implementing interactive elements on web pages.
• Strong attention to detail in identifying broken links and inconsistent formatting across web content.
