SharePoint Developer & Migration Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Migration: Lead end-to-end discovery, migration, and validation using tools like ShareGate, Metalogix, or Microsoft native tools (Mover, SPMT).
• Development: Design and deploy custom SPFx web parts, extensions, and modern site templates.
• Automation: Develop Power Automate workflows and Power Apps solutions to replace legacy InfoPath or Nintex forms.
• Governance: Implement site retention labels, sensitivity labels, and enforce Permissions management post-migration.
• Optimization: Remediate migration errors (e.g., broken links, long file paths) and optimize site structure for modern search.

Required Skills

• Migration: 3+ years handling migrations (File Shares to SPO, or SP 2016/2019 to SPO).
• Dev: Strong proficiency in SPFx (React) , PowerShell (PnP), and REST APIs.
• Platform: Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, Viva, Planner) and Entra ID permissions.
• Tooling: Hands-on experience with migration assessment tools and delta migration cycles.

Preferred

• Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator or Developer Associate.
• Experience with JSON site scripting and site templates.

Soft Skills

• Acute attention to data integrity and security.
• Strong documentation skills for cutover plans and runbooks.
