SharePoint Engineer (Back End) - TS/SCI w/Polygraph
About the role
GDIT is seeking a SharePoint Engineer to support Government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA.
Responsibilities
- Designs and defines system architecture and system design documentation for new or existing computer systems
- Analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
- Ledesigns and development activities
- Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies
- Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
- Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
- Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline + 8 years’ experience or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience
- Experience increasing the scope of SharePoint indexing to external sources and improving relevance of search results
- Experience managing SharePoint Online
- Experience managing SharePoint on-premises infrastructure and applications
- Experience with implementing SharePoint security and access controls
- Strong knowledge of PowerApps and Power Automate for business process automation
- Experience in back-end programming languages, i.e. Python, JavaScript, Java, Perl, Ruby, C++, etc)

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $147,292 - $199,278. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
