SharePoint Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for SharePoint migration projects.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand current-state processes and define future-state solutions.
• Create detailed process flows, business requirements documents, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into solution designs.
• Support planning, execution, and validation of SharePoint migration activities.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement review sessions.
• Affiliate with user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and post-migration support.
• Develop user training materials, guides, and documentation to support adoption.
• Ensure adherence to information governance, compliance, and data migration best practices.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies to support successful project execution.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on SharePoint migration projects.
• In-depth understanding of SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Premises, and migration tools such as ShareGate and Metalogix.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience conducting user training, creating user guides, and providing post-migration support.
• Familiarity with information governance, compliance requirements, and data migration best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a focus on delivering business value.
