Shared Service Assoicate

Assist the casino with daily operations. Provide outstanding guest service to internal and external guests. Perform various tasks across different departments, including guest service functions such as exchanging currency, check cashing, chip redemption, creating players club cards, and redeeming club benefits.

Responsibilities

• Work in various departments as needed.
• Create a courteous, friendly, and professional work environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist guests with all questions and reasonable requests.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
• Handle cash and perform cash handling duties, including reconciling a till after each shift.
• Attend all meetings and/or trainings as directed by management.
• Read, understand, and adhere to Winnebago Gaming Compact and Winnebago Tribal Gaming Code and Rules and Regulations.
• Perform duties in a positive and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a key employee in good standing.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• No theft or stealing convictions.
• Must be able to obtain a Key license with WGC.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation.
• Must obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• Must be able to withstand a smoky environment for extended periods with direct exposure to secondhand smoke.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a telephone.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to interact successfully with associates and guests.

Work Environment

• Work is generally performed in the casino area with exposure to heat, cold, secondhand smoke, and high noise levels.
• Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required, including holidays and weekends.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
