SFO Incumbent Security Training Instructor

VMD Corp is seeking a Security Training Instructor to join our team. This position is based in SFO.

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering security training programs to enhance employee awareness and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement training programs that cover topics such as physical security, cybersecurity, emergency response procedures, and workplace violence prevention.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and provide feedback to improve future sessions.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure training remains current and relevant.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate security training into existing employee development initiatives.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a related field such as security studies, criminal justice, or a similar discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in security training or related field.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Experience with adult learning principles and techniques.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
