SFDK Winterfest Performer $18-$20/HR

About the role

Discovery Kingdom is looking for Singers/Dancers, Actors, and Characters for a variety of styles in our exciting fall & winter programming. AUDITION IS REQUIRED. As a performer at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, you will be an integral part of creating memorable and magical experiences for Guests. You will bring various characters and entertainment acts to life through performance and interaction.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Guests of all ages, maintaining high energy and enthusiasm.
• Ensure a positive and immersive experience.
• Pose for photos and conduct meet‑and‑greets with Guests.
• Maintain assigned costumed look and report repair needs to the proper personnel.
• Participate in additional media appearances as required.
• Attend rehearsals and learn choreography/character work for all assigned shows and performances.

Requirements

• Dancers must maintain choreography and show integrity throughout the event as set by the Choreographer, Director, and Entertainment Management.
• All performers must demonstrate and maintain stage presence appropriate for a specific stylized show or character.
• Open positions include Singer/Dancers, Atmosphere Characters, and Looney Tunes Characters.

Schedule

Rehearsals and performances run from August 13th through January 5th.
